UPSL
has undertaken an extensive re-examination of the petroleum geochemistry
of East Africa. Following its recent work in the western Indian Ocean
there is unequivical evidence for a vast and robust regionally extensive
source rock system. It is believed that there is considerable overloked
hydrocarbon potential throughout the region.

UPSL is a
geoscience company dedicated to East African oil and gas exploration.
Based in East Africa UPSL is actively engaged in marine, transition
zone and land seismic surveys as well as marine geochemical coring
surveys to include the GoreTM surface geochemical marine
& land surveying.
UPSL.
conjunction with Seabird Exploration has been involved in the
acquisition of over 40,000 line km of seismic data in Kenya, Seychelles,
Mozambique and Tanzania for a variety of clients. |

UPSL
has completed its East Africa Geochemical Aquisition programme
(EAGAP) in Kenya, acquired cores in Mozambique and will be collecting
cores in Madagascar as part of the 2008 EAGAP Programme with WL
Gore.
In October
2006, the company mobilised its fully equipped transition zone
division in Tanzania to embark on a extensive campaign of coastal
seismic acquisition. In June 2007 the company mobalised its land crew in Tanzania.
