Non Exclusive Data Sales (Seychelles)

 

Black Marlin has acquired, processed and interpreted 3,626km of new long offset (8. 1km) seismic data which has been integrated with existing seismic, well geological and petroleum geochemical data and potential fields.

 

This work has revealed the presence of an active petroleum system and has contributed to new thinking regarding the make-up and development of the petroleum potential of the Seychelles. Salt has, for the first time, been identified in this area, as has a plateau-wide thick sediment sequence and indigenous oil. The Seychelles' petroleum system can be considered analogous to both that of the prolific Tertiary of the Bombay High, Cambay, Kutch and Indus and to other petroleum systems of East Africa.

The Seychelles' data package is available from wholly-owned subsidiary UPSL on behalf of SEYPEC by standard industry data license agreement, as a single package at a single company rate.
