Message from the President to our shareholders
Dear Shareholder
Black Marlin Energy Holdings began trading on the Toronto Venture Exchange today, March 22nd, 2010 under the symbol BLM. The shares opened at $ 0.50 and closed at $ 0.48 with almost 64,000 shares trading. Share certificates were issued on Friday and will be delivered during the next few days.
The company has a newly constituted Board of Directors comprising Richard Schmitt, Robert McBean, Nigel Barker, Ruurd Abma and Murray Atkins and it is anticipated that the first meeting of the new board will take place before the end of March. Having successfully financed the company under very difficult market conditions, we are now in an excellent position to implement an extensive exploration program in East Africa. Our concessions in Madagascar, Seychelles, Kenya and Ethiopia are located in an emerging and exciting exploration play fairway and we are looking forward to a period of rapid growth for the Company.
Rick Schmitt
